Uroczysko Każa is a stretch of forest and heathland unfolding between Chałupy and Kuźnica. Its nature trail winds among ancient pines, heather and the nesting grounds of waterbirds. In summer it is a quiet, peaceful spot far from the crowds — around a quarter of an hour away by bike, an hour on foot. Educational boards describe the plant and animal species characteristic of the peninsula.
