These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") set out the rules for using the hotelmeridian.pl website, the rights and obligations of users, and the conditions for booking a stay at Hotel Meridian. Using the website constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • Service Provider / Hotel — Hotel Meridian S.C. Konrad Witczuk, Alicja Witczuk, ul. Kaperska 2, 84-120 Chałupy, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 5871746142, Statistical Number (REGON): 528481077.
  • Website — the online service available at hotelmeridian.pl in all language versions.
  • User — any person using the Website.
  • Guest — a natural person who has entered into a hotel contract or for whose benefit a booking has been made.
  • Booking engine — the external reservation platform PremiumStay / Betasi to which the User is redirected to make an online booking.
  • Terms — this document.

2. General provisions

The Website is operated by the Service Provider for informational and marketing purposes. It allows you to learn about the hotel offer, contact the reception, and be redirected to the external online booking engine.

Using the Website requires: internet access, a browser supporting HTML5 and JavaScript, and cookies enabled for the necessary category. The Website is available 24/7, subject to maintenance breaks.

Use of the Website is free of charge. The User must not provide unlawful content or take actions that may disrupt the Website (e.g. attacks, automated scraping, attempts to circumvent security).

3. Electronic services

The Service Provider provides the following services on the Website:

  • Information about the hotel, rooms, package offers, restaurant, SPA, and attractions.
  • Contact form — allowing inquiries to the reception, reservations, events, and marketing departments.
  • Business form — for inquiries about offers for companies, weddings, conferences, and special events.
  • Redirection to the external online booking engine (PremiumStay / Betasi).

Submitting a form requires accepting the consent to processing of personal data in line with the Privacy Policy. We typically respond within 24 hours on business days.

4. Online bookings

Booking a stay is performed via the external Booking engine operated by PremiumStay (Betasi). After clicking "Book", the User is redirected to an external website where the operator’s terms, privacy policy, and reservation conditions apply.

A hotel contract with Hotel Meridian is concluded once the booking is successfully made in the Booking engine and confirmed. Detailed terms — including prices, cancellation policies, prepayment and refund rules — are displayed in the Booking engine before finalisation and may differ depending on the package or rate selected.

Bookings can also be made by phone (+48 58 674 19 01) or e-mail (recepcja@hotelmeridian.pl) — in which case the terms and invoicing details are confirmed in writing (e-mail).

5. Prices and payments

Prices on the Website and in the Booking engine are gross (incl. VAT) and expressed in Polish złoty (PLN), unless stated otherwise. Package prices include the items described in the offer.

Payment is made via the operators indicated in the Booking engine or at the hotel — by cash, payment card or bank transfer. The hotel reserves the right to charge a prepayment in accordance with the conditions of a specific offer.

6. Cancellations, changes, local fee

Cancellation and change conditions are detailed for each offer / rate in the Booking engine at the moment of booking. Some offers may be non-refundable — cancelling such a booking does not entitle to a refund.

A local (climate) fee may be added to the price of the stay, charged by the Władysławowo municipality in accordance with applicable regulations. It is calculated per person per started day of stay.

7. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Article 38(12) of the Act of 30 May 2014 on consumer rights (Journal of Laws 2014, item 827, as amended), the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to the consumer in the case of accommodation services, where the contract specifies a date or period of performance. This means that cancellations are governed solely by the conditions of the specific offer (see section 6).

8. Complaints

Complaints regarding the operation of the Website, contact forms, or performance of the hotel contract may be filed:

  • by e-mail: recepcja@hotelmeridian.pl,
  • by phone: +48 58 674 19 01,
  • in person at the hotel reception or by post to the registered address.

A complaint should include: name, contact details, description of the problem, date of the event, and the expected resolution. We respond within 14 days from the date of receipt.

9. Out-of-court dispute resolution

Consumers can use out-of-court methods of handling complaints and seeking redress, including the European Commission’s ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or permanent arbitration courts at provincial Trade Inspection offices. Use of these methods is voluntary.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Website — texts, photos, graphics, logos, layout, source code — is protected by copyright and is owned by Hotel Meridian or third parties holding the relevant rights. Copying, modifying or using this content for any purpose other than personal use requires prior written consent.

11. Personal data

The processing of personal data in connection with using the Website is described in the Privacy Policy. The use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy.

12. Final provisions

The Service Provider reserves the right to change these Terms for important reasons, in particular due to changes in law, scope of services, or technical reasons. Amended Terms apply from the date of their publication on the Website.

Matters not regulated in the Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code, the Act on the provision of services by electronic means, and the Consumer Rights Act.

The competent court for resolving disputes is the court for the registered office of the Hotel, subject to consumer protection rules.
