The Coastal Defence Museum in Hel occupies the site of the historic Schleswig-Holstein anti-ship battery — the largest coastal artillery battery in Poland. Bunkers, trenches, 406 mm guns and a viewing tower atop the main bunker tell the story of the Second World War along this coastline. The open-air display features more than 20 combat positions, while the original staff rooms have been preserved inside the bunkers. One of the most authentic military sites in Pomerania.
