Avenue of Sports Stars
O miejscu
An open-air promenade in Władysławowo set with the handprints of Poland's Olympic champions — a pantheon of the nation's sporting greats.
The Avenue of Sports Stars is a one-of-a-kind open-air promenade in the heart of Władysławowo, unveiled in 2004. Set into the pavement along the main street are handprints and plaques honouring Poland's greatest athletes — from Adam Małysz and Robert Lewandowski to legends of boxing, sailing and athletics. Strolling the avenue is something of a pilgrimage for sports lovers, and each season brings unveiling ceremonies for new stars, attended by the champions themselves.
